1Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “you”) and Becomyn (“Becomyn”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your access to and use of our website, applications, study matching algorithms, focus timers, community channels, and associated services (collectively, the “Service”).

By registering for an account, joining our waitlist, or using any part of the Service, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Service immediately.

2Eligibility & Account Registration

• Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use Becomyn. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
• Account Accuracy: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information regarding your identity, target examination, and academic stage.
• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3Platform Purpose & Educational Disclaimers

Becomyn provides peer accountability matching, study timers, streak counters, and shared virtual study spaces to assist aspirants in building disciplined study routines.

Educational & Matching Disclaimer: Becomyn is a peer-to-peer productivity and accountability tool. Becomyn does not guarantee exam clearance, rank attainment, score improvements, or permanent interpersonal compatibility with matched study partners. We are not an official examination body, coaching institute, or accredited educational organization.

4Community Guidelines & Code of Conduct

To maintain a safe, productive, and focused environment for all aspirants, all users agree to adhere to our Community Code of Conduct. You strictly agree NOT to:

• Harass, intimidate, stalk, threaten, abuse, or demean any study partner or community member.
• Transmit hate speech, discriminatory remarks, sexually explicit material, or violence.
• Distribute spam, unauthorized marketing, promotional pitches, affiliate links, or solicit commercial services.
• Engage in copyright infringement, sharing unauthorized pirated study materials, exam leaks, or confidential question papers.
• Misrepresent your identity, impersonate any person or entity, or create fraudulent accounts.
• Attempt to compromise platform security, reverse-engineer the service, or deploy automated bots, scrapers, or exploits.

Violation of these conduct standards may result in immediate suspension, account termination, and where warranted, referral to legal authorities.

5User Content & Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You retain ownership of any text, notes, or messages you submit through Becomyn. By submitting content, you grant Becomyn a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you and your study partner.
• Becomyn Intellectual Property: The Becomyn name, logos, visual assets, software code, UI design, matching algorithms, streak mechanisms, and branding are the proprietary property of Becomyn and are protected by applicable intellectual property and trademark laws.

6Third-Party Services & Analytics

Our platform utilizes third-party tools and services (including Microsoft Clarity for analytics, session recording, and product telemetry, as well as cloud infrastructure providers). By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree that your interactions are also subject to our Privacy Policy and the policies of our trusted technology partners.

7Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE BUG-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE FROM TEMPORARY DOWNTIME.

8Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL BECOMYN, ITS FOUNDERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, ACADEMIC OUTCOMES, OR CONDUCT OF THIRD-PARTY USERS, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS OR USE OF THE SERVICE.

9Account Termination & Suspension

You may discontinue use of the Service or request deletion of your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for behavior that violates these Terms or harms other users or the platform.

10Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will post the updated Terms on this page with a revised “Effective Date”. Continued use of Becomyn after such revisions constitutes your agreement to the new Terms.

11Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably through mutual good-faith discussions.
